Newton Parish Council

This site includes a record of activities, projects and meetings of the council. Please use the links above to contact the Parish Council or any of the Parish Councillors. The Parish Council aims to look after the interests of the whole community.

From April 2020, the council  avoided gatherings as directed by the government, but it did hold virtual meetings from May 2020, and monthly afterwards, by use of Internet Conferencing (Zoom)

The last virtual permitted meeting was on 05 May 2021 and included the Annual Meeting.

Zoom meetings have to finish by 06 May 2021

The Rule of 6 that applied until 21 June has been extended to at least 21 July

Accordingly, the next meeting, set for Tuesday 22 June, needs to be postponed

Arrangements will be announced once a new date is determined

The Managing Director of Redfow Homes is happy to to talk to us about their housing development – he is willing to take questions, so once we firm up a date, please come prepared

In general, we would like residents to submit appropriate questions for consideration by councillors. Please send by e-mail to the clerk at billbanner1@virginmedia.com
